Shouldn't Americans be concentrating on how this nut got an ault weapon and not his Party Affiliation?

I am all for debate but this is not a political thing. A 9 yr old girl was killed. Why are the laws in Arizona so pathetic that a nutjob can own a firearm. Not just a gun but an automatic ault weapon. The NRA is silent I am sure. The laws in Arizona are outdated and more like 19th C old west than 21st Century America. Our Founding fathers never meant a civilian to be carrying weapons like this. The Haters from the Right and Left will still be here tomorrow but a 9yr old girl and 5 others won't be.
