Doesn't want to leave mom..?

OK. I'm applying for a private boarding high school school on the east coast. if all goes well, i will be spending the rest of my high school years there. the only problem is, my dad works really late nights and my mom is a homemaker. i feel guilty because even though i want and i know she wants me to have a good education, i can't just leave her there. i dont think anybody should be lonely in her mid 40s. if i go, she'll be at home all alone the entire day for months. she'll live in solitude. what should i do? should i still go to boarding school?
