2005 Mini Cooper S Sirius radio with factory head unit.?

I have a 05 McS with a factory stereo ( non - Harmon kardon ) I toggled the mode on and it popped up saying Sirius call 1-888 blah blah. It will not allow me to tune any specific radio station but if I hold sat/info I will get my esn#. I called Sirius and they hooked me up after I gave them a esn# and told me to tune to 184 but it still will not allow me to change the station and keeps telling me to call Sirius. Any thoughts or tips? No ons work at all, only thing I can get it to do is tell me my esn#
