well it sounds like you guys are in college or at school....because at this age most of the guys do this just to show off infront of their friends and may be this is what he doing.....he was trying to show that OHH LOOK AT ME I AM SOO COOL AND I TREAT MY GF LIKE A SH**T.....if i be honest yeahh he is embres infront of his friends and trust me your bff does not deserve a guy like this,,,,,,tell her she needs to break up with him and trsut me a right guy will come for her who will be proud of her and won treat her like this
