Could I have made him jealous? think he really likes me ?

Me and this guy have known each other for over a year but have been I guess unofficially seeing each other a few weeks. We hang out like watch movies at his house and we kiss, cuddle, hold hands, etc. I have actually let his hand down my pants and at a point he said he wanted to make love to me but I told him I wasn't ready and he immediately backed down. He is so nice to me, he has bought me lunch, tells me how good I smell, just little sweet stuff. We haven't addressed our feelings but the more I see him the more he seems to look at me differently. Like when we stop kissing he stares at me and looks me in the eyes and he is smiling. I really like him a lot and I hate when we go just a day without talking. Tonight one of my best friends (a guy) kept talking to me and I know I felt my guy staring at us and a couple of times he came and stood in between us and started talking and his arm was like attached to mine. I didn't get to say bye to him either so I'm scared he is mad. And last night I got a text at his house and he was like "I won't look. Is it your secret boyfriend?" And another time we were textting While I was at a basketball game and he said I'm sure you're wearing something y" followed by "tell those guys staring at you to f*** off". I don't get if he is wanting something serious or not but I really feel like he likes me more and more everytime I see him. Advice please?!
